The SRAM PC-1191 chain builds on the fantastic performance of the 1091R to provide the best chain possible for SRAM's Red22 11-speed cassette group. The new SRAM RED 22 chain features more heavily chamfered outer plates for improved shifting and quieter running. Other advancements include a new inner plate finish plus chrome hardened pin construction, both for longer chain life. The HollowPin™ construction of SRAM's 11 speed chain provides smooth, precise shifting and weight savings without sacrificing strength.

Compatibility of the PC-1191R chain is for SRAM Red 22 & Force 22 Front & Rear derailleurs, Cranksets and cassettes. SRAM uses its familiar Power Link for easy chain installs where there is no worry to get a pin in perfectly straight and at the right depth - something even experienced mechanics can struggle with. Basically just put the Power Link in place with your hands and pull it into position with a little drivetrain tension.
