The SRAM XX1 Trigger shifter is based on the highly lauded XX shifters and their light weight, precise action and excellent adjustability. The XX1 shifter like the XX is easily fine-tuned for position and all hand sizes. SRAM includes a MatchMaker X compatible clamp so you can have your remote suspension lockout all on the same clamp for a neat, clean and well thought-out cockpit.
SRAM uses a new cable pull ratio for XX1 called X-Actuation. X-Actuation™ was developed specifically for SRAM XX1 and keeps shifting sharp and consistent across the entire 10-42T cassette.XX1 shifters have a carbon cover and adjustable carbon pull lever.
From world cup XC racing to Marathon to Downhill, XX1 is taking the mountain bike world by storm for some big reasons. XX1 is about 200 grams lighter than the next lightest cross country group because there is no front derailleur, shifter or front cabling required. Secondly, the chainring is engineered to retain the chain where chainrings on double and triple systems needs chainrings that allow chain movement. Because there is a reduced need to reel in chain slack, the rear derailleur can be designed for faster shifts and quiet performance with chain slap virtually eliminated.
