Description

The NoTubes Arch series rims have been the foundation of some of NoTubes most durable, heavily ridden wheelsets and a favorite of tubeless tire trail riders since it's inception. Just a bit heavier than the XC-oriented Crest, the Arch featured structural rigidity at the sacrifice of a few grams, delivering more rider confidence in the rough stuff and those sudden drops that can appear on unfamiliar trails. The MK3 release expands on the glory of the Arch EX, literally, by moving to a rim structure with a 26mm internal rim width to best carry tires from 2.25" to legit 2.5" models. This 24% increase in width is part of NoTubes WideRight concept, which has been developed to deliver the perfect width rims based on tire size and volume for riding requirements. In creating the new Arch MK3, NoTubes increased overall rim strength by 25% without any appreciable weight gains. With the ZTR Arch MK3 Rear Wheel, the application of the modular NEO rear hub and the Durasync freehub body is a perfect complement to the overall design, as it excels in technical trail conditions. The NEO design is flexible and NoTubes offers endcap adapters to different standards, which is ideal given the varying dropout widths and types on the market.

NoTubes considers the Arch MK3 the perfect balance of weight and strength, and the rim structure provides more durability and fatigues resistance over heavy use. The wide, low profile shape is designed to roll faster, increase traction through better tire/surface interaction. Since Stan pioneered his tubeless technology, NoTubes rims are known as the premier tubeless rim system on the market. BST creates a ideal seal with with most tubeless ready tires when used with proper sealant.

The advanced 32 hole NEO rear hub was designed as NoTubes saw new standards like Boost coming. The 3.30 series hubs were very good, but the NEO series offered real upgrades, answers the weaknesses, and is more flexible of future changes. Featuring 100% precision CNC machined hubshells, a wide stance bearing system in the freehub, integrated high durometer seals, and oversized swaged axles, the NEO is a new animal. Wider spaced and oversized chrome steel bearings are used all-around, and in the rear, the Durasync 6-pawl, 10 degree, 36-point engagement system is a big upgrade from the 3.30, and even the 4-pawl first gen NEO freehub, especially when riding technical terrain at slower speeds. The engagement is still simultaneous and incredibly reliable. The hub flanges of the machined shell are now angled to improve spoke alignment and ease more consistent spoke tension. Construction and performance reflect reliability and durability, perfect for heavy use, and ideal for future-proof standard updates.

NoTubes is using Sapim Force steel j-bend spokes. The Force are both strong and incredibly resilient to rim impact. Triple butted at 2.0/1.7/1.8mm, the tapered steel offers just enough give to limit rim damage from big impacts despite high spoke tension. Sapim Secure Lock nipples hold the 3x/3x lacing tight, and prevent any wind-up from disc brake stopping power, even with 180mm rotors. Of course you get your rim pre-taped with Stan's NoTubes tubeless rim tape, and the valves you need to make tubeless happen. The rear NEO hub comes with axle width options as well as either Shimano or SRAM XD Driver Durasync options, and even a single-speed driver, and all are interchangeable with the appropriate NoTubes parts.

Everything about the ZTR Arch MK3 Rear Wheel screams versatility- from where and how you ride, to the set-up required for your frame. No other option can touch the tubeless capabilities, and no other company delivers as much quality and flexibility as NoTubes. Nothing else needs to be said on that end. Pair it with the fork-appropriate matching front Arch MK3 for a dynamic all around wheelset.
