Description
The NEO hubset design from NoTubes features a modular ecosystem and there are several key variable you must know or identify when buying replacement end caps or switching to a new axle configuration. These are: NEO shell diameter, hub spacing, disc brake type, and the axle type you have or want to install. The standard front NEO shell carries the 15mm axle spacer that is adaptable to 12mm and 9mm QR, etc., but keep in mind that the parts are different for 6-bolt versus Center Lock disc rotor mounting. NoTubes uses a CL designation for Center Lock. If it is for 6-bolt, there is no extra designation- an end cap for a NEO front hub 12mm thru-axle model with 6-bolt will just be called: Front 12mm TA (for example).
This can get confusing, especially when you consider that there is a 20mm NEO OS hub design, as well as options like Boost width. Regardless of the exact item you need, the SealLock End Cap design employed in the NEO hubs work extremely well, and the modular system gives you maximum flexibility moving forward, or if you have frames with different axle and dropout specifications. The machined alloy end caps are precisely made for each application, and the o-ring seal serves to keep moisture out the hub and provide a snug fit. Each end cap is clearly marked with a code number for identification. The NEO Hub End Caps are sold in pairs, are specific to front or rear, standard or OS, and for 6-bolt or Center Lock, so make sure you know what you need or consult with our expert staff or with NoTubes before ordering.
