Sugino produces these high quality chainrings from 2014 series aluminum. This provides a light and durable composition built to last many miles, while offering reliability along the way. The teeth are precisely machined to tight tolerance and are void of any ramping or shift profiling. This symmetrical and square tooth profile is the ideal choice for running a singlespeed chainring or an inexpensive replacement ring for an 8 or 9 speed drivetrain that requires a 5 bolt crank pattern.

These Sugino rings are compatible with 5 bolt cranksets, and are available in either 110mm compact or 130mm standard bolt diameters, with plenty of tooth count options for each size. Included is just the raw chainring, so you will need to reuse your chainring bolts or purchase a fresh set. Remember, if you are converting to a single ring, you will need to grab a set of single ring chainring bolts, which feature a narrower length than standard double ring bolts to accommodate the single ring.
