Bold shield-style cycling glasses are back in vogue, but the push is towards making them lighter, with the same coverage and features. That is what the Tifosi Sledge Lite was built for, as well as a wrap fit that offers great coverage and protection, while using properly vented lenses that create airflow to keep heat and moisture from building up. This Lite frame has an open bottom frame design that reduces weight over the full frame Sledge model. Like the Sledge, the Lite also fits Large and XL faces best, with proper wrap. The cleverly designed frame allows for the ultimate Tifosi value- interchangeable lens options that come with most master lens models (some specific models don't offer multiple lenses, like the Fototec system).

With Tifosi you get value from the materials lens technologies that other companies hype in sunglasses 3-4 times the price. The nearly unbreakable Grilamid TR-90 arm material is lightweight and allows for numerous shapes and designs. All Tifosi lenses have 100% UVA/UVB protection and the Slice lenses also feature Glare Guard technology. The shatter-proof polycarbonate lenses are also optically decentered to eliminate distortion and unwanted magnification. The rubber used for the adjustable nose and ear pieces is hydrophilic, so it offers great grip and control that is enhanced, not mitigated, when wet from sweat or rain. As with virtually all Tifosi's the Slice comes with a zippered structured case for protection during storage or transport along with a microfiber cleaning bag that allows for safe lens cleaning and basic storage in or out of the case.

Each Sledge Lite comes with a dominant lens, along with AC Red and Clear options. The structured soft zipper case is a huge help in keeping things organized and safe, while a microfiber cloth is safe and effective for keeping the lenses clean. Tifosi offers several special lens technologies. The Sledge Lite is available at a slight premium in some frame colors with a Clarion lens, which adds some color definition and sharpness without distortion or straining your eyes.
