For some time, serious cyclists have wanted Vittoria to offer a great high performance training and racing capable tire to sit in line between the pure pro race grade Corsa G2.0 series tires that feature the high TPI polycotton casing, and the durable but less exciting Rubino Pro series. Now the N.EXT is here, perfectly placed in the line. Designed to satisfy the requirements of enthusiast cyclists who clock up the miles on long and demanding weekly rides, the Corsa N.EXT combines Vittoria's peerless knowledge of racing performance with the durability of a long-lasting nylon casing that uses a unique Silica and Graphene compound for improved rolling efficiency, grip and longer wear-life. To increase puncture protection, the central section of the casing features 3 layers of nylon as well as an additional puncture protection belt. The balance of performance and durability is here in the tube-type (clincher) Vittoria Corsa N.EXT G2.0 Road Tire.

The new 2C Graphene + Silica Compound offers a new combination of ultimate compound materials are rated at 9% Speed/Rolling Resistance / 32% better Grip / 21% better Puncture Protection than comparable compounds due to the special properties of each with Graphene providing high grip and long mileage numbers, while Silica brings fast rolling speed with low rolling resistance, as well an inherent puncture resistance. The N.EXT 100 tpi Nylon Casing features 3 flexible nylon layers below the center tread to add extended durability. The casing wraps around the aramid beads in a three-fold ply set-up in a domed pattern below tread, and 2-ply on sides for great continuity of feel and wear resistance. A high-density Protection Belt layer below the tread surface offers substantial puncture protection while a Bead Shield reinforced Chafer guard protects the bead zone, aids with compatible hookless rim systems and offers overall bead integrity under pressure. The High Tech Bead itself in made with an aramid cord for the tube-type construction that assists with easy mounting and inflation while maintaining strength and rim hold.

As for the tread system itself, it is familiar to Corsa G2.0 fans, but modified slightly. The Center Tread zone has spaced directional grooves for a wide contact surface, while the Side Tread zones feature more closely spaced directional grooves for enhanced grip and handling while cornering. A close watcher will notice the 14mm sidewall height that provides more supple ride characteristics, even at a higher pressure in the range. Lastly, Vittoria places a Tread Wear Indicator in the tread so you can monitor your usage. As a final detail, Corsa N.EXT is the first road racing tire to feature a QR Code, which is printed on the tire hot patch, for easy access to useful technical information about the tire.
