The Wahoo Kickr is one of the most innovative products we sell and has a list of features that make it our most desirable (and expensive) trainers that we sell. Unlike most trainers, be it wind, magnet or fluid, you normally attach the rear wheel directly on the trainer and rely on that trainer's resistance mechanism to provide resistance to your wheel. The Kickr requires that you remove your rear wheel and attach your frame directly to the Kickr unit. In essence, the Wahoo trainer becomes your wheel. This helps explain the accuracy and solid feel of this product. A Shimano/SRAM 11 speed compatible cassette is included. The height of the trainer can be adjusted for smaller and larger sized bikes to keep the bike and rider level with the ground.

An electronic sender unit in the resistance mechanism controls resistance. This unit and the amount of resistance can be controlled by your iPhone or iPad by simply downloading an App. Beyond controlling resistance, you will be able to receive accurate power measurement by connecting to devices that measure power (think Garmin/Cycleops) via both Bluetooth or ANT+ signals. The ride quality is road-realistic and the noise level of the Kickr is fairly quiet - similar to a fluid trainer.

The Kickr Power trainer is stout and weights in a hefty 45lbs which means it will not move or walk around during work out sessions.
