When Zipp introduced the 900 they changed expectations for disc wheels. Zipp demonstrated that a disc wheel can be almost as light as a climbing wheel while offering the stiffness necessary to perform under condition. The 900 features a scant 19mm of frontal area which redefines the meaning of a stealth product. The multi-panled carbon sheaths of the 900 are fitted to a lightweight honeycomb core. Added to the exterior of the carob is Zipp's familiar dimpled patterning, which improves airflow and saves watts due to an elimination of air disruption around the wheel when in use. The profile of the wheel is slipery and proves effecting in many conditions and yaw angles.

The 900 tips the scale at a mere 935 grams, making it a perfect choice in not just flat events, but any with elevation gain as well. Needless to say, there's plenty of rotation mass to be saved as well. The Zipp® 900 disc remains one of the lightest, stiffest disc wheels available, and with the 21mm width and uniform cross section, it will work on very tightly spaced TT bikes. This disc may also be adapted for track use with a track axle sold separately. Includes skewer, valve extender, disc pump adapter, and valve hole decal.
