The Purist uses a silicon dioxide coating to create low surface tension like a Lotus leaf. This shields the inside of your bottle from odor, staining, and mold build-up. An extremely thin Silicon dioxide coating is applied to the polymer structure of the inner surface of the bottle, forming the protective glass-like barrier that prevents odors, stains, and mold from permanently attaching to the inside surface of the bottle.
