Some valve extenders are actually quite complicated. In this case, Zipp's Presta Valve Extender was designed for tubes or tubulars with non-removable valve cores. In other words, you open the core, then install the extender, and inflate. You can then remove the extender and close the valve core, or not. Now, you can still use this valve extender with removable core valves, but you treat it as if you can't remove the core.

As with all Zipp's equipment, the Presta Valve Extender was well thought out and precisely executed. The machined alloy tube has a relief zone at the top with a knurled section and lip that holds your pump head in place during high pressure inflation. The opening of features a 3mm hex interface so you can securely tighten, or easily remove, the extender. Anodized black, the Zipp Presta Valve Extender is available in lengths that complement Zipp's rim depths.
